I was educated at St. Andrew’s Cathedral School, Sydney, Australia, on a choral scholarship, singing in the Cathedral Choir. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree in Australia, and my Master of Music degree in England. In July 2016 I successfully defended my thesis to complete my Doctor of Ministry degree in Educational Leadership at the Virginia Theological Seminary. I currently serve as a board member of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.
Prior to moving to the United States, I was Director of Music and Performing Arts at my alma mater. Before taking up my appointment as Headmaster of Oak Hall Episcopal School, I was Dean of Students at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School, Coral Gables, Florida, and Director of Music for both the school and the church.
My wife Amanda and I have two children who attend OHES. Gemma is in Fourth Grade and Charlie is in Kindergarten. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, reading, watching sport, and the pleasures of good food and wine. We are members of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.
